On August 16, 2003, The Miasmics gave permission for shows to be hosted at the Archive:

Miasmics Taping Policy
We totally encourage taping of our shows and (at this point in time) BOTH
Audio and Video are OK. However that is subject to change. Selling of
live performances is prohibited of course but the sharing and
distributing of recordings
in a fan to fan mannar is strongly encouraged! We feel that each Miasmics
show is unique and different than the previous and we want fans to be
able to recreate the experience through taping. Soundboard patches are
available for the time being as well. Thanks! and happy taping! And if
you'd like to add your own Audio recording to the database of Archive.org
- by all means be our guest! Oh, and remember - don't sell these
recordings...
